“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” II Timothy 3:16-17

Tabernacle BPC has six Sunday School classes, namely, Adult & Youth Sunday School, Little Ark, Tabertots, Discipleship Class, Domestic Helper Ministry as well as Basic Bible Knowledge Class for new members.

Adult & Youth Sunday School

The Adult & Youth Sunday School is for all aged 16 & above. Sunday School lessons are taught every Sunday at 5.15pm after the worship service.

The Little Ark

The Little Ark is a Sunday School for Primary 1-6 children. The class is held every Sunday at 5:15pm after worship service. The children will be taught the Word of God by systematically going through the Books of the Bible. All children are welcome to attend The Little Ark, to know the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Saviour and to be grounded in God’s Word.

Tabertots (short for Tabernacle Toddlers) is for children aged 2.5 – 6 years old. Young they may be, they have a huge capacity for the Word of God and it is important for them to be build up in the Lord. Matthew 19:14 ‘But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” By God’s grace, may the children love the Lord, know His Word and Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

Basic Bible Knowledge Class

Basic Bible Knowledge Class comprises of 12 lessons prior to the catechumens seeking admission to the Church by baptism, reaffirmation and transfer of membership. The aim of the BBC is to help them to know the fundamentals of the Christian faith that they may grow thereby in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Clement is in charge of the BBC.

Discipleship Class

Discipleship Class caters to students from Secondary 1-3 and has a 3-year curriculum. Over the three years, students will learn: Overview of the Bible, Westminster Shorter Catechism, Church History, Character Study – Life of Abraham, and Book Study – Gospel of John.

Domestic Helper Ministry

The Domestic Helpers’ Ministry started in November 2009 when we saw the need to reach out to helpers from foreign land. Teachers conduct Bible Studies with them on the Lord’s Day during Sunday School. Thank God that some of them have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, and were baptised. In recent years, some residents from Simei Care Centre also joined us. May the Lord continue to use this ministry to convert sinners and build up His saints!
