Our Social Responsibility

In submission to the government authorities (Rom. 13:1-8) and fulfilment of the commandment to love our neighbours as ourselves (Matt. 22:39), I would like to urge the brethren to take heed to the advisory to stay at home as much as possible. Avoid going out unnecessarily except for daily necessities, essential services, or urgent medical needs. Social gatherings should be limited to immediate family members in the same household.

We should also labour in prayer that the Lord will be merciful to our nation. Be a good testimony for the Lord. Protect yourself. Protect others. Self-help with God’s help is the best help.

Yours affectionately,
Pastor Clement Chew

Suspension of Church Activities

In light of the new measures announced by the authorities on 24th March 2020, the Board of Elders has decided that all church activities will be suspended with effect from 27th March 2020 till further notice.

The church is currently working to establish live streaming English services by 29th March 2020 (Sunday). We will furnish further details soon. Please also pray for the Session who will be meeting to decide on how best to handle the current situation.

Amid this pestilence, let us be assured that our sovereign God is in full control. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Ps. 46:1)
